S. Earl Wheeler is a Professor of Business Administration (with
tenure) at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and Senior Consultant for LWD Consultants,
Inc., a Jacksonville based company specializing in project management. Earl’s
teaching assignments for the University are primarily the graduate courses in Operations
Research, Research Methods and Statistics, Project Management, and Human Factors. His
project management and operations research experience has primarily been in the area of
heavy industrial projects and agricultural endeavors. Dr. Wheeler earned a Bachelor of
Science degree in Engineering, a Master of Science degree in Personnel Management,
specializing in Labor Relations, a Master of Science degree in Physical Oceanography, and
the Doctor of Philosophy degree in Ocean and Coastal Engineering and in Education,
Curriculum and Instruction, specializing in Adult and Professional Education. He has also
