MANAGEMENT AND LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE
 | PROJECT MANAGER and OFFICER in CHARGE, managed all aspects of planning and execution of
overhaul, renovation and conversion of a U.S. Naval Vessel from out of service status (12
years) to a housing, feeding, and education facility. Allocated and managed contracts for
$10 million. |
 | PROJECT MANAGER, planned and managed major conversion of all combat systems (missiles,
radars, electronic countermeasures equipment, tactical radios, etc.) and supporting
structures of world's largest Naval Vessel, employing a work force of over 500 people. |
 | DEPARTMENT HEAD, management and leadership of 200 person department of highly trained
professionals in upkeep and utilization of computer based decision support system, linking
multiple ships at sea. Responsibilities included control of approximately 80 aircraft,
numerous missile systems and guns, and all tactical communication systems, including
satellite links. |
 | DEPARTMENT HEAD, managed and led operations department of organization operating long
range aircraft covering nearly half the earth. Directed all aspects of mission planning,
aircraft assignment, crew assignment, fuel allocation and usage, and associated budgets. |
